Gary S. Bowitch
Gary Bowitch has practiced environmental law for more than 20 years. He represents private, not-for-profit and municipal clients in an array of state and federal environmental matters. Prior to private practice, Mr. Bowitch was an assistant attorney general and the chief of the Oil Spill Litigation Unit for the New York State Attorney General's Office. He was senior attorney for the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. Mr. Bowitch received his B.S. degree in chemistry from Union College where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and a Summa Cum Laude graduate. He received his Juris Doctor from Albany Law School and has been a member of the New York State Bar since 1987.
